L-I-S-T-E-N-I-N-G

Communication in organizations
is like fuel for engine
that energizes the entire operation.

To achieve results through people in our team, as leaders we must have the ability to communicate effectively and timely. Your people must understand clearly about what to do and when to do it and the contribution that is required from them.

Effective and timely communication both verbally and in writing will eliminate possible misunderstanding and confusion. But do always bear in mind that effective communication is not just about conveying messages. Many leaders just want their messages and ideas heard. Equally important is also in giving the opportunity to our people to talk and to provide feedback.

If we want to increase our effectiveness as leaders and achieving great results from our team, do evaluate our listening ability and improve it.

Practice a habit of active listening first before we construct and convey our message.
